Internationellt: Källtorp tillsammans med SiS (Statens institutions styrelse) och Älgeredskollektivet representerar Sverige i Euromet, som är en paraplyorganisation för ungdomsvård i Europa.

EUROMET is a unique European youth care alliance, the history of which goes back to 1839. It is a network of institutions covering both eastern and western Europe, providing various educational, socialisation, treatment, vocational programmes, working pedagogically with seriously disadvantaged children and youth, between the ages of 4 and 25, in France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, United Kingdom, Belgium, Romania and Slovenia.

The children and young people have serios problems including drug abuse, alcohol abuse; many have been neglected and have suffered physical and sexual abuse; some are delinquents and others have drifted into prostitution as run-away children living on the streets where they are at risk.
